Parking Programs

Learn more about our parking initiatives, including a customer parking validation program, a low-cost parking alternative for downtown employees, the free weekend parking program, and free parking for school buses bringing students downtown to visit attractions.

Transportation

Downtown is currently served by three circulator routes:

  • The Fourth Street Trolley operates on a 2.6-mile, north-south route on Fourth Street linking the waterfront at the wharf with Spalding University at Breckinridge Street. The trolley fare is 50 cents. Route map and schedule
  • The Main Street Trolley, serving the cultural district, operates on a 3.5-mile, east-west route on Main, Market, Campbell & Tenth Streets. The trolley fare is 50 cents. Route map and schedule
  • The Medical Center Circulator connects senior citizen housing, Jefferson Community & Technical College, Jefferson Technical Center, 4th Street Live!, and the Medical Center. It operates on a 2.6-mile, east-west route on Chestnut, Muhammad Ali, Jackson and Roy Wilkins. The fare is 50 cents. Route map and schedule
